President

         Candidate: Taniya Shaikh

I am honored to be under consideration to serve as President of the ACMP Carolinas Chapter. Over the past six years, I have had the privilege of serving our chapter in multiple roles—from volunteer, to Director, to my current position as Vice President. This journey has given me a deep understanding of our members, our mission, and the meaningful impact a strong, engaged chapter can have on the change management community across the Carolinas.

During my time on the Board, I have focused on elevating programming, strengthening alignment across initiatives, and fostering a sense of connection and belonging for members at all career stages. If approved to serve as President, I will prioritize transformational initiatives that expand member value, deepen engagement, and strengthen partnerships, while positioning ACMP Carolinas as a trusted hub for learning, collaboration, and thought leadership.

I believe deeply in ACMP and would be honored to help lead our chapter into its next phase of growth and impact.

Vice President

         Candidate: Caroline Martinez

I am honored to be considered for the role of Vice President of the ACMP Carolinas Chapter. Over the past two years, I’ve had the privilege of serving as Membership Director, as well as presenting at ACMP Global in 2023 and at several local chapter events.

Through my work with the Board and our members, it became clear that our chapter needed a deeper, more intentional focus on the overall Member Experience—not simply maintaining accurate records. To better understand your needs and expectations, we hosted member focus groups and took a thoughtful look inward at our Board operations and programming. This reflection helped us identify meaningful opportunities to evolve how we serve you and strengthen the value we provide.

With two decades of experience in leadership development, coaching, change management, strategic planning, workshop facilitation, and program management, I bring both a practical understanding of organizational change and a passion for continuous improvement. I am committed to contributing to thoughtful discussions and actions that advance our chapter’s mission.

I’m passionate about ACMP and would be honored to help drive our chapter forward into a future filled with growth, connection, and lasting impact.

Treasurer

         Candidate: Jennifer Hearing

I am a Consulting Manager at Cushman & Wakefield, where I help organizations navigate change during workplace transformations, return-to-office transitions, and new technology rollouts. With two decades of experience in communications, project leadership, and stakeholder engagement, I am recognized for being both strategic and detail-driven.

Based in Greenville, SC, I enjoy exploring the Carolinas, writing, and actively supporting my local community. I have held volunteer leadership roles with both PMI and ACMP.

As Treasurer, I look forward to strengthening the ACMP Carolinas Chapter through transparent financial reporting, disciplined stewardship, and support for the chapter’s mission to equip and connect change practitioners. I am excited to give back to the community that has helped shape my own professional journey.

Secretary

 Candidate: Rosalind Tyburski

It’s an honor to be considered for the role of Secretary for the ACMP Carolinas Chapter. My connection with ACMP began in 2011 and has included speaking at two Global conferences (2012 & 2024) and volunteering at both the national and chapter levels. After a hiatus in 2025, this feels like the right moment to re-engage and contribute in a deeper way.

With more than 20 years in change strategy, my work centers on helping organizations and leaders navigate transformation with clarity, empathy, and intention. I blend organizational change management, leadership coaching, applied neuroscience, team building, and strategic facilitation to support environments where people feel grounded and ready for change.

Over the years, my approach has evolved from traditional Change Management toward Change Leadership: building trust, capacity, and psychological safety as the foundation for successful and sustainable transformation. We shift from “managing resistance” to cultivating readiness, resilience, and alignment.

As an independent consultant and coach, I focus on people-centered change and building high-trust cultures, leadership, and teams. I’m excited for the opportunity to support the ACMP Carolinas community.

Membership Director

Candidate: Lauren McAteer

Thank you for considering me for the role of Membership Director with ACMP.

My journey with ACMP began in early 2024, after years of focusing on customer experience and customer success. Through that work, I discovered that change is the critical thread connecting both disciplines. My professional background spans conflict resolution, community capacity building, experience design, and, more recently, leading internal large-scale technology transformations. Over the past decade, I’ve consistently taken on roles that required introducing new functions or departments within Fortune 500 companies and high-growth startups. I thrive on turning strategy into action and believe that change management principles are essential for aligning previously siloed areas into a stronger, unified whole.

If approved to serve, my priority will be to build on the strong foundation of member value that the Chapter has established. I see this role as a dot connector linking committees and initiatives to create a seamless, evolving member experience that reflects the needs and voices of our community. My goal is to ensure that every interaction strengthens engagement and fosters a sense of belonging across the membership.

Events Director

Candidate: Ann Clemmons

Being considered for a leadership role within the ACMP Carolinas Chapter is both meaningful and motivating. Through active involvement with the chapter and the broader ACMP community, I have developed a strong appreciation for our members, our shared purpose, and the role an engaged local chapter plays in strengthening the change management profession across the Carolinas. Participating in ACMP conferences has further reinforced how essential change management is to organizational success, professional credibility, and the advancement of our field.

My experience brings more than a decade of experience designing, coordinating, and delivering high-impact initiatives across the public sector and consulting environments. My work sits at the intersection of change management, knowledge management, and operational excellence, with a strong focus on creating experiences that drive adoption, engagement, and measurable outcomes.

As a candidate for Events Director, I am focused on creating local events that are inclusive, thoughtfully organized, and rooted in purpose, with experiences that encourage learning, meaningful connection, and professional growth across the change management community.

Events Regional Co-Chair (RTP area)

Candidate: Ibrahima Kourouma

I am a senior change management and digital transformation leader with global experience spanning government modernization, multinational organizations, and strategic consulting. I have held senior leadership roles within the Government of the Republic of Guinea, supporting national public-sector reform and modernization efforts, and has served as a trusted change and organizational leadership advisor to institutions including the African Development Bank and Cisco Systems on complex transformation initiatives.

As Principal Consultant and Managing Partner of Afronovation, Inc., I advise governments and organizations on strategy, operating model transformation, and enterprise-wide change. My experience includes serving as Acting CIO and Deputy Director for Public Services Modernization in Guinea, leading high-impact, multi-stakeholder programs requiring strong governance, disciplined execution, and alignment across people, process, technology, and information security considerations.

I hold an MBA in Project Management and a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership, along with advanced certifications in project management, change management, IT governance, agile leadership, and information security, enabling me to lead change initiatives in regulated and high-risk environments. As a Regional Co-Chair Candidate, I focus on strengthening collaboration across the Carolinas, elevating professional practice, and supporting high-impact programming that advances the change management community.
