Event Description

The ACMP × ICF Carolinas collaboration continues with the next session in our Learning Arc: Application.

Whether you have attended our previous sessions or are joining us for the first time, this webinar is designed to help coaches, change practitioners, leaders, and HR/OD professionals better understand how coaching and change management can be applied together to support sustainable change.

Our collaboration has been intentionally designed as a learning journey: Kickoff (the intersection of coaching and change management), Foundation (the neuroscience of resistance and readiness), and now Application—moving beyond the 'why' and into the practical 'how.'

Change management brings structure: stakeholder alignment, readiness, communication, adoption planning, reinforcement, and sustainment. Coaching brings depth: presence, inquiry, reflection, accountability, self-awareness, and behavior change. When used together intentionally, they can help people not only understand change, but engage with it, own it, and sustain it.

In this interactive session, Sophia Schell, President of ICF Charlotte, and Taniya Shaikh, President of ACMP Carolinas, will explore how coaching and change management can be applied together in real organizational and individual change scenarios.

Through practical examples and a shared use case, participants will examine how both disciplines complement one another and how coaches, change practitioners, leaders, and consultants can leverage their unique strengths to help people move from insight to action.
